Technical Chief of Staff (Office of the CTO & CSO)

Join Quandela, a fast-growing deeptech organization, as a Technical Chief of Staff. In this role, you will support the execution of the company's technical and scientific strategy, coordinate strategic initiatives across research, product, and engineering teams, and ensure alignment between long-term scientific objectives and operational execution. You will work closely with the CTO and CSO, providing direct exposure to the executive leadership team and involvement in shaping the company's most strategic technical and scientific decisions. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy operating at the intersection of advanced science, engineering execution, and strategic coordination.

• Coordination and execution of strategic initiatives across research, product, and engineering teams.
• Improvement of coordination mechanisms between research teams, product leadership, and engineering.
• Support in structuring processes and initiatives that allow the organization to scale while maintaining scientific and technical excellence.

• 5+ years of experience in roles such as:
• Technology consulting
• Chief of Staff
• Strategy / operations in deeptech organizations
• Experience working in research-driven environments, advanced technology companies, or deeptech startups is strongly preferred
• A dual background combining engineering/science and business, management or project management (e.g. engineering degree plus business school, MBA, or equivalent training) is a strong plus
• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in engineering, physics, computer science or a related technical field is required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong program and project coordination skills
• Ability to engage effectively with senior scientists and engineers
• Exceptional structuring and synthesis capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong sense of ownership and discretion
• Highly organized and proactive
• Ability to navigate complex organizations and evolving priorities
• Comfortable operating in highly technical environments
