What we offer
Reporting to the Senior Builder, the Community Coordinator plays an important role in keeping the construction site organized, responsive and running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, service-minded professional who enjoys variety, teamwork and being at the
centre
of activity—supporting site operations, trade partners and the delivery of an exceptional homeowner experience.
What you’ll do
Receives, reviews and processes documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for distribution to various company departments.
Responsible for tracking, sorting and distribution of all paperwork to and from Head Office.
General administrative support
including
answering phones, replying to emails, ordering and receiving building material/supplies, data entry, photocopying and filing.
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Senior Builder and Production Manager as required.
Prepare and code purchase orders and completion
slips
generated
from
the community. Includes daily and weekly input of production schedule updates.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Manage weekly payroll of field staff.
Emphasis on preparing and processing work orders in conjunction with the efficient coordination and scheduling of Technicians.
Assist Trade Partners with respect to extras, sketches, completions and building supplies. Prepare and code purchase orders and completion
slips
generated from site.
Prepare, print, and monitor weekly reports.
Data input and information management to generate work orders for the timely completion of deficiencies.

ring
Degree and/or Diploma in Administration or a suitable combination of work experience and education.
A minimum of 2
years
office administration experience in a high volume or fast paced environment.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong scheduling skills are essential.
Demonstrated ability to follow through on scheduled work commitments.
Pleasant phone manner and ability to manage multiple lines simultaneously.
Ability to draft professionally formatted correspondence for internal and external use.
Ability to multi-task and complete work on time and in a fast paced, unpredictable environment.
Ability to work within a dynamic team setting, share various responsibilities and demonstrated ability to work independently.
Bonus points
Knowledge of construction technology and an understanding of the Tarion performance guidelines would be beneficial, along with basic knowledge of residential construction.
Compensation
The expected base salary range for this position is $
50,000 - $73,500
. Actual pay may vary depending on your job-related knowledge, competencies, and skills. We recognize that exceptional situations may fall outside this range, and we encourage all interested candidates to apply.
You are also eligible to participate in Mattamy’s annual bonus program which gives you the opportunity to increase your total compensation if business and individual goals are achieved.
