Artistic Painter

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and creative
Artistic Painter
who can carry out decorative painting, artistic finishes, wall designs, murals, and general painting works. The candidate should have good knowledge of painting techniques, colour combinations, surface preparation, and finishing works, with the ability to deliver high-quality results in commercial, mall, hospitality, and facility environments.

Key Responsibilities

Execute
artistic, decorative, and general painting works
as required.
Prepare walls, ceilings, doors, partitions, and other surfaces before painting.
Perform
surface preparation, sanding, filling, priming, and finishing
.
Create decorative designs, patterns, murals, textures, and artistic finishes.
Apply different painting techniques such as
brush painting, roller painting, spray painting, faux finishes, and texture painting
.
Mix and match colours according to approved designs and specifications.
Ensure proper colour consistency and high-quality finishing.
Repair damaged, faded, or peeling painted surfaces.
Carry out touch-up and repainting works in common areas, retail spaces, offices, back-of-house areas, and other facilities.
Follow approved drawings, colour schemes, designs, and work instructions.
Protect floors, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and surrounding areas during painting activities.
Maintain painting tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
Ensure proper storage and handling of paints, thinners, chemicals, and other materials.
Follow all
health, safety, and environmental procedures
, including proper use of PPE.
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping at the work location.
Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, maintenance teams, and other contractors when required.
Complete assigned painting works within the required timeframe and quality standards.
Report material requirements, defects, and any site issues to the supervisor.
Perform other painting and decorative works as assigned by management.
