IT Automation & Platform Engineer

Join Zyte, a global technology company, as a Senior IT Systems Engineer. In this role, you will architect and operate the internal technology ecosystem, integrating various business systems into a coherent, automated architecture. You will spend a significant portion of your time writing code and building automation tooling, as well as designing and implementing reliable, API-driven integrations between business systems. Additionally, you will introduce AI-assisted and AI-driven workflows across the company. This is a remote position with flexible hours and a focus on work-life balance.

• Architect and operate the internal technology ecosystem, integrating various business systems into a coherent, automated architecture.
• Design and implement reliable, API-driven integrations between business systems, including CRM automation and syncing customer data.
• Build and maintain internal tools and automation services that improve operational efficiency across teams, including onboarding and access management.

• Webhook-based event systems
• Cloud Infrastructure: Solid experience operating GCP & AWS environments (VPCs, IAM roles, EC2/S3)
• Experience working in remote-first or globally distributed environments is strongly preferred
• API & Integration Engineering: Strong experience working with external APIs, including:
• Identity lifecycle automation
• OAuth authentication flows
• ISO 27001 | SOC2 | GDPR
• REST and GraphQL APIs
• Operating Systems: Deep working knowledge of macOS and Linux environments
• Compliance & Governance: Experience supporting or passing security and compliance audits, such as:
• SaaS SDKs and integration frameworks
• Zero Trust access models
• 8+ years in IT Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Systems Engineering, or Platform Engineering, including 3+ years in a senior role owning internal business systems and automation at a SaaS/tech company
• Scripting Mastery: Strong scripting and programming ability in Python, Go, , Bash,
• Identity & Security: experience implementing and managing:
• SSO / SAML / SCIM provisioning

• LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)

• SRE Mindset: Experience applying SLIs/SLOs to internal IT services to measure "uptime" of the employee experience
• AI-Assisted Automation: Experience experimenting with or implementing AI-driven automation, such as:
• Automated support or ticket triage using AI
• Containerization: Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes for running internal IT microservices
