Oracle Fusion SCMFIN Technical Consultant

The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting technical solutions that enhance Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The role requires experience in implementation projects, production support, integrations, reporting, workflow automation, and AI-driven business solutions.

Technical Solution Design

• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design Oracle Fusion extensions, integrations, reports, and workflow automations.
• Provide technical guidance on Oracle Fusion best practices and architecture.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business users, and external vendors to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Integrations & Development

• Design, develop, and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, FBDI, ADFDI, HDL, and File-Based Integrations.
• Build and support inbound and outbound integrations between Oracle Fusion and third-party applications.
• Develop custom solutions using Oracle PaaS services and Visual Builder where required.
• Troubleshoot and optimize integration performance and reliability.

Oracle Fusion Extensions & Automation

• Develop and maintain Groovy-based extensions, validations, and business rules.
• Configure and support Oracle BPM workflows and approval rules.
• Develop custom objects, flexfields, and application extensions.
• Implement automation solutions to improve business efficiency and user experience.

Reporting & Analytics

• Design and develop BI Publisher reports, data models, bursting solutions, and document templates.
• Develop OTBI analyses, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Support Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Perform SQL development, data analysis, and troubleshooting activities.
• Smart View and Oracle APEX

AI & Emerging Technologies

• Design and implement AI-powered solutions and AI Agents integrated with Oracle Fusion.
• Evaluate and implement Generative AI use cases across Finance, Procurement, SCM, and HCM processes.
• Develop AI-driven workflow automation, knowledge assistants, and self-service solutions.
• Support OCI AI Services, Oracle AI Agent Studio, and enterprise AI initiatives.

Testing & Deployment

• Prepare technical design documents, test cases, and deployment plans.
• Support SIT, UAT, CRP, and Production deployments.
• Participate in cutover planning and go-live activities.
• Ensure all developments comply with security, quality, and governance standards.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support.
• Troubleshoot integrations, reports, workflows, and system issues.
• Manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) and coordinate with Oracle Support.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.

Technical Skills & Experience

• SCM: Procurement, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Portal, Supplier Qualification, Sourcing, Advanced Pricing and Order Management
• Finance: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM)
• Projects: Oracle Fusion Project Financial Management, Project Costing, Project Billing and Project Foundation

Implementation Experience

• Minimum 3 full lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
• Strong experience in Oracle Fusion technical development and integrations.
• Experience supporting large enterprise and public-sector organizations.
• Experience in implementation, enhancement, and AMS support environments.
• Proven ability to work across multiple Oracle Fusion pillars.

Service Management

• Experience with ITSM tools and support processes.
• Experience managing incidents, problems, service requests, and change requests.
• Familiarity with ITIL service management practices.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Relevant certifications in OIC, AI Agents, Analytics, APEX, OPA etc.
