From narrow-body fleets to wide-body aircraft, our teams work on some of the most advanced aircraft types in commercial <aviation.As> Deputy Accountable Manager, you take on a key management role within our EASA Part-145 organization. You support the Accountable Manager in ensuring that our maintenance activities are performed safely, compliantly and with the necessary financial, personnel, technical and organizational resources. Flexible availability is required in line with operational and regulatory responsibilities.What you bringA completed university degree in engineering, aviation, business administration or a comparable disciplineAlternatively, an equivalent vocational qualification combined with substantial aviation maintenance and management experienceAt least five years of professional experience in Heavy Base MaintenanceDemonstrated leadership experience within an EASA Part-145 organizationStrong knowledge of EASA Part-145 requirements, aviation legislation, the MOE and associated organizational proceduresSound understanding of Safety Management Systems, Compliance Monitoring, Human Factors, risk-based decision-making and occurrence reportingCommercial understanding of budgets, resource planning, cost structures and operational performanceExperience in dealing with aviation authorities, audits and airline or MRO customersVery good written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantageConfident use of ERP systems and standard digital workplace applicationsHigh integrity, personal accountability and the ability to make clear, fact-based decisionsThe confidence to stop or escalate activities whenever safety or compliance may be affectedStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skillsYour permanent place of work will be Hahn Airport. Due to the cross-location responsibilities of the position, regular business travel to other HANGAR 901 locations is required.An aircraft maintenance license is not mandatory solely for this position.
