General Ledger Accountant - PH (USA Time Zone)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

General Ledger Accountant

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in general ledger accounting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This role will work closely with the U.S.-based team, so excellent communication skills and the ability to work

U.S. Eastern Time (ET) hours

are essential.

Prior experience working with

U.S. companies or clients

is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day
• general ledger accounting activities
• , ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and post
• journal entries
• , including accruals, adjustments, and reclassifications.

Perform

• balance sheet and account reconciliations
• and investigate discrepancies.

Support

• month-end and year-end closing
• activities.
• Review financial information and identify errors, inconsistencies, or unusual transactions.
• Work closely with internal teams and U.S.-based stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure accounting activities are performed in accordance with internal policies and applicable accounting principles.
• Assist with financial reporting and other accounting-related tasks as required.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to making accounting processes more efficient.
• Handle ad-hoc accounting requests and support the team with additional GL-related activities as needed.

Qualifications

4–10 years of professional experience

in general ledger accounting or general accounting.

Strong understanding of

general accounting principles and GL processes

.

Hands-on experience with

journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close

.

Strong analytical and

problem-solving skills

with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

.

Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and manage multiple priorities.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Availability to work

U.S. Eastern Time (ET) hours
