Cloud Platform Engineer

Join Rockstar Games as a Cloud Platform Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in the adoption of cloud technologies across the company. You'll evaluate cloud platforms, support development teams, and ensure strong governance around security, cost, and data protection. This position requires experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native system design. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is required, along with 5+ years of experience in cloud-native systems and infrastructure architecture.

• Evaluating enterprise cloud platforms and services for security, scalability, cost, and enterprise fit.
• Maintaining a catalogue of approved cloud platforms and usage patterns, and supporting development teams in design and implementation of cloud-enabled workflows.
• Coordinating with Security, Operations, Infrastructure, as well as Development and Legal stakeholders on platform architecture decisions.
• Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, infrastructure automation, or modern platform engineering practices
• Strong grasp of enterprise security fundamentals
• Experience with automation tools including Git, Pulumi, Terraform, Ansible or similar
• Experience in cloud-native system design and implementation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience integrating APIs and services into production environments
• Games industry experience
• Experience with AI and LLM platforms or AI gateways
• Understanding of AI governance and platform risk assessment
• 5+ years of experience in cloud-native systems, cloud platforms, and infrastructure architecture
