Audit Associate-SUPPORT SERVICES-Internal Audit

About The Role
As an Audit Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the bank's IT systems and processes are compliant and secure. Your responsibilities will include conducting IT audits, assessing application security, and managing outsourced audit partners. Additionally, you will establish quality assurance programs, provide advisory support for IT projects, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Deliver IT Audit assignments, including application and infrastructure audits, security assessments, and vendor audits.
- Develop and implement a Risk-Based Audit Framework, ensuring compliance with RBI regulations and ISO 27001 standards.
- Manage and coordinate with outsourced audit partners to optimize audit processes and deliver high-quality work products.
- Establish and maintain a Quality Assurance and Improvement program, facilitating internal and external quality assessments.
- Provide advisory support to IT projects, offering expertise in internal controls and IT risk management.
- Stay updated with key RBI circulars and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Effectively manage projects and relationships, with a focus on efficient resource utilization and cost reduction.
- Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to handle and interpret data effectively.
- Maintain a high-energy and self-starter attitude, with excellent presentation skills and strong time management abilities.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with experience in IT Audits, preferably in the BFSI sector.
- CISA certification is mandatory; additional certifications like CISM, CRISC, or CISSP are preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Sound knowledge of key RBI circulars and regulatory requirements.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Experience in team handling and relationship management is advantageous.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills, coupled with efficient data handling abilities.
- High energy, passion, and a self-starter attitude, with good presentation and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel as required for audit assignments and project engagements.
