General Laborer

Essel is currently seeking dependable and hardworking General Laborers to join our team on an active commercial retail construction project. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are safety-conscious, and have a strong work ethic. No two days are the same, and you'll play a key role in helping us keep our project on track and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and organization
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate hand tools and power tools as required
• Support skilled tradesmen (carpenters, plumbers, electricians, etc.)
• Follow safety guidelines and report any safety hazards
• Complete other general labor tasks as assigned by the site supervisor or foreman

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in construction or general labor preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Reliable transportation to and from the job site
• Must be able to work as part of a team and independently
• Basic knowledge of tools and construction equipment is a plus
