Accommodation and Travel Coordinator

Centum Engineering is looking for an organised and people-focused Accommodation and Travel Coordinator to join our team at our Toomebridge office.

This isnot a traditional freight, haulage or warehouse logistics role.

Our teams work on majorData Centre and Pharmaceutical projects throughout Europe, including Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal and Finland.

Your role will be to help coordinate the movement of our people to and between these European projects, ensuring their travel and accommodation arrangements run smoothly and that they have a reliable point of contact throughout the process.

Our employees may be travelling from Ireland or elsewhere in Europe to begin a new project, returning home as part of their rotation, or moving directly from one European project to another.

You will play an important role in making sure these movements are properly coordinated.

What You'll Be Doing

You will work closely with our employees, Recruitment, HR and Operations teams to coordinate European travel and mobilisation.

Your responsibilities will include

• Coordinating flights and other travel arrangements for employees travelling to and from European projects
• Arranging and coordinating employee accommodation
• Supporting the movement of employees between different European project locations
• Communicating travel, accommodation and mobilisation information directly to employees
• Acting as a key point of contact for employees before and during travel
• Responding to questions and helping resolve travel or accommodation issues
• Maintaining accurate records of travel arrangements and employee movements
• Working closely with internal teams to understand upcoming mobilisation requirements
• Managing changes, cancellations and last-minute travel requirements when they arise
• Building positive relationships with employees who may be working away from home for extended periods

Weekend On-Call

As our employees regularly travel to and from projects at weekends, the team operates a sharedon-call phone rota.

This is approximatelyone weekend in every three to four weeks.

The purpose of the on-call phone is simply to provide employees with a point of contact should an unexpected issue arise while they are travelling, such as a cancelled flight, accommodation issue or other travel-related problem.

Who We're Looking For

Previous experience in a similar coordination role would be beneficial, but we're equally interested in finding someone with the right organisational and communication skills.

You could come from a background in

• Travel coordination
• Workforce mobilisation
• Recruitment coordination
• Employee or people coordination
• Project administration
• Operations coordination
• Hospitality or corporate travel
• Construction or engineering administration

Most importantly, you'll need to behighly organised, comfortable dealing with people and capable of managing several moving parts at the same time.

You'll regularly speak with employees from different countries and backgrounds, so a friendly, professional and confident communication style is essential.

You should also be comfortable dealing with changing circumstances. European project mobilisation doesn't always go exactly to plan, and you'll need to be someone who can calmly find a solution when flights change, plans move or an employee needs assistance.

The Details

Position: Accommodation and Travel Coordinator

• Location:Toomebridge – office based
• Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
• Salary:Up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
• On-call:Shared weekend rota, approximately 1 in every 3–4 weekends
