Job Description
The Partnership Manager is responsible for managing and developing Pluxee’s third-party merchant acquisition network, including agencies, freelance partners, and affiliate companies. This role ensures that merchant onboarding via external channels aligns with Pluxee’s quality standards, commercial objectives, and operating model. The Partnership Manager plays a key role in expanding merchant coverage efficiently while maintaining governance, performance visibility, and brand integrity in a B2B2C context.

Join our UK team as a Partnership Manager
The Merchants and Partners team curate, manage and develop the merchant and partner network surfaced across Pluxee UK’s product estate.
The purpose of the role is to build the UK’s most compelling merchant network to elevate & strengthen Pluxee UK’s propositions and products across all markets. Our network is tailored to the requirements of our clients, customers and partners and will continue to evolve to meet the needs of all our key stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As a Partnership Manager you will be expected to
- Create a stronger commercial proposition designed for optimal growth and to protect, grow and develop new sources of revenue for Pluxee UK.
- Secure the best possible commercial terms from all segments for Pluxee UK
- Prospect, propose and sell Pluxee propositions to new & existing target merchant brands across our product estate
- Generate incremental revenue from new and existing clients alongside identifying areas of improvement to meet departmental KPI’s
- Recruit and optimise additional new offers across product estate
- Be responsible for all contract discussions, management and reviews: in-line with pre-agreed terms
- Upsell marketing packages
- Onboard merchants to new and existing client and product programmes
- Provide expert advice, insight and recommendations to our partners
- Appropriate management of underperforming partners
- Source and manage promotions
- Source Competition Prizes/Seasonal/Added Value offers as required by the business
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify and grow opportunities
- Regularly attend and participate in existing partner meetings / conference calls (& contact reports)
- Attend scheduled meetings, escalating required actions to our Operational teams
- Attend industry events & exhibitions
YOU ARE A MATCH IF...
Work Experience
- Proven partnership, business development or account management experience with a strong track record of recruiting, growing and retaining commercial partnerships, preferably within cashback, affiliate, loyalty, employee benefits, fintech or retail sectors.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience securing commercial agreements, increasing revenue, negotiating commission structures and delivering mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Demonstrable "hunter and farmer" capability, able to win new business from prospective partners while also maximising growth opportunities within an existing portfolio.
- Knowledge of the UK retail, ecommerce and affiliate landscape, with an understanding of how merchants use partnerships, offers, promotions and marketing channels to drive customer acquisition and sales.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels, influence decision-makers, manage multiple priorities and work effectively across internal and external teams.
