Job Summary: Are you a creative, detail-oriented graphic designer with a passion for visual storytelling? We're seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join our dynamic team and contribute to our creative projects. As a Graphic Design Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our creative endeavors and helping bring our brand to life.
Key Responsibilities Areas
- Update game day creative assets across digital, social, print, and in-arena platforms.
- Design promotional giveaways, fan engagement materials, and creative assets for theme nights and marketing campaigns.
- Create and adapt branding assets for the Stockton Kings.
- Prepare advertising materials for Golden 1 Center and other marketing channels.
- Collaborate with the Creative team to develop and produce print and digital creative from concept to final delivery.
- Prepare production-ready files while ensuring brand consistency and quality across all assets.
- Contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns, events, and fan engagement initiatives
Qualifications
- Portfolio required for consideration
- Currently an upcoming College Senior preparing to graduate or possess a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) with a strong understanding of design fundamentals. Familiarity with Figma is a plus.
- Familiarity with the sports industry and marketing a team or brand is preferred.
- Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills; able to apply creative feedback effectively.
To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be
- Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months
- Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento office
- Able to work up to 25 hours per week
- Interns will be compensated $17.50 per hour and receive benefits such as California Paid Sick Leave, discounts on Sacramento Kings merchandise, and free parking.
