Radiology Technologist II (PRN) - Urgent Care Center

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist II independently performs a wide range of imaging procedures and demonstrates proficiency in multiple modalities.

Key Responsibilities

• -
• Greets and assists patients, explain procedures clearly, and ensure appropriate attire for procedure.
• -
• Performs routine and complex radiographic exams and imaging procedures, including OR and fluoroscopy procedures following established protocols; position patients accurately.
• -
• Selects and applies appropriate technical factors based on body habitus and pathology; maintains attention to patient and equipment during procedures.
• -
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of imaging equipment and ensures proper operation.
• -
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and verifies image quality.
• -
• Performs additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• -
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required
• -
• 2+ years of related experience

Licenses & Certifications

• -
• Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required
• -
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• -
• South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards (SCRQS) certification

Essential Skills

• Strong computer skills.
