The Team

The General Qualifications Assessment team is responsible for delivering GCSEs, A Levels, and other qualifications in the UK and internationally. We work closely with assessment specialists and examiners to develop examination materials, monitor quality, and ensure candidates receive accurate and reliable results.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Advanced Associate, Content Quality Assurance to support the production and quality assurance of assessment content across our General Qualifications portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for Bachelor's degree graduates from any discipline, including fresh graduates who are eager to start their professional careers. We also welcome candidates with up to at least one year of work experience from any industry, function, or field.

In this role, you will support the secure and accurate production of assessment materials, particularly within the Pearson English International Certificate (PEIC) team, while also contributing to the digitization of assessments for onscreen and remotely invigilated testing.

Working within a collaborative team environment, you will help ensure the delivery of high-quality assessment content, manage relationships with external assessment associates, and support projects that impact learners around the world.

Key Responsibilities

Assessment Content Production & Quality Assurance

  • Support the end-to-end production and quality assurance of assessment materials.
  • Perform quality checks on PEIC examination papers and supporting resources.
  • Verify paper-based assessments against their onscreen and remotely invigilated versions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist in the creation, administration, and delivery of digital assessment content for mock examinations, onscreen assessments, and remote invigilation services.
  • Build knowledge and proficiency in PEIC and onscreen assessment authoring platforms.

Project & Process Management

  • Manage assigned workloads and activities according to established schedules and deadlines.
  • Monitor progress and proactively escalate risks, issues, or delays to management.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal assessment production procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the assessment lifecycle.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with subject matter experts (SMEs), assessment associates, and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvements.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the wider Assessment organization.

Data & Reporting

  • Provide accurate and timely information to the Assessment Management Team.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and recommend solutions where necessary.
  • Support reporting activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any course or discipline.
  • Open to fresh graduates.
  • Candidates with up to at least one year of work experience from any industry, function, or role are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in administrative, operations, customer service, education, content management, quality assurance, or related roles is an advantage but not required.
  • Experience working with digital platforms, online systems, or content production tools is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with educational or assessment environments is a plus but not essential.
