About The Role

Support daily laboratory operations, including sample handling, testing activities, equipment management, and quality documentation.
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory equipment, automated systems, and test fixtures.
Perform routine maintenance and ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory requirements.
Record, review, and maintain laboratory data and support documentation.
Assist with laboratory planning, equipment procurement, and budget activities.
Support validation of new or updated test methods and laboratory processes.
Train and mentor laboratory personnel on equipment, systems, and procedures.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and problem-solving methodologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to improve laboratory efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with UL policies, safety standards, and security requirements.
Associate Degree, technical certification, or equivalent education in a relevant technical field.
3 - 5 years of laboratory operations, testing, equipment maintenance, or related technical experience.
Strong knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing environments within the conformity assessment industry.
Experience troubleshooting equipment and supporting automated test systems.
Ability to manage changing priorities and make sound operational decisions.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
Experience coaching or mentoring laboratory personnel.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
Proficient with standard computer applications and laboratory systems.
