Senior Laboratory Engineer, EMC Testing at UL Solutions

About The Role

Lead and execute complex EMC testing projects from planning through reporting.
Develop test plans, analyze results, and prepare accurate technical reports.
Serve as a technical expert for EMC standards, testing methodologies, and laboratory operations.
Communicate with customers throughout the testing process and provide technical guidance.
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate advanced EMC test equipment.
Mentor and train junior laboratory personnel on testing procedures and best practices.
Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and laboratory efficiency.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, with high quality and exceptional customer service.
Support compliance with safety, security, and quality requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
Typically 8+ years of experience in EMC testing, laboratory operations, or a related engineering field.
Strong knowledge of EMC standards, testing procedures, and laboratory equipment.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet customer expectations.
Experience mentoring and coaching technical teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience using automation to improve testing efficiency is highly desirable.
