Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotel's team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You ensure the efficient and safe operation of all plant and equipment and assist in supervising repairs, maintenance, and new installations, ensuring safe operations in the hotel. As a Maintenance Officer , you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day
- Service Standards: Maintain high service quality and align team with operational goals
- Ongoing Maintenance: Respond to jobs logged through the Maintenance system
- Task Management: Complete duties per the Maintenance Manager’s direction; ensure smooth handovers
- Preventative Maintenance: Complete assigned tasks in order to maintain the hotel
- System Monitoring: Inspect machine rooms and equipment; report issues promptly
- Energy Advisory: Recommend procedures to improve energy efficiency
- Administration: Handle attendance, performance records, and maintenance documentation
- Materials & Tools: Manage inventory, tool usage, and material storage
- Contractor Coordination: Schedule and oversee contractor activities per maintenance plans
- Safety Oversight: Enforce safe equipment operation across departments
- Emergency Response: Follow emergency procedures and support the operation in emergency situations

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications
- 3+ years in a similar role or 5+ years in a supervisory position within a 4/5-star hotel
- Strong knowledge of hotel electrical, mechanical, and engineering systems
- Skilled in equipment maintenance, safety standards, and energy management
- Proven leadership, team supervision, and contractor coordination experience
