About the Role
This role is ideal for someone with strong numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate reconciliation of care accounts, investigating and resolving queries from internal teams and external customers, and contributing to process improvements that enhance the efficiency of the finance function. Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments, you will help ensure smooth financial operations and support wider organisational objectives.
About You
To apply for this post, you must be able to evidence in your application how you meet the following criteria
- NVQ level 2 qualification in a relevant area e.g. Finance or Business Administration or similar appropriate equivalent or Demonstrable experience identified within the section below.
- Experience of dealing efficiently and effectively with queries and correspondence. Knowledge of the importance of confidentiality, and accurate information/data management
- Experience of dealing with members of the public. Experience of supporting older people and vulnerable individuals. The ability to converse and communicate with customers and external stakeholders in a clear and concise manner under existing confidentiality frameworks
- Able to gather information, interpret, analyse, and complete tasks timely and accurately to undertake reconciliations of finance information from various sources, investigate and take corrective action.
- To be able to use and apply Information Technology efficiently and effectively using software packages including Microsoft Excel
- To be able to work on own initiative, manage own time effectively to ensure tasks are accurately completed and deadlines are met.
- To ensure that financial regulations are appropriately complied with, and the accuracy and integrity of the financial and line of business systems and general ledger is maintained and the appropriate reconciliations are undertaken accurately and within the required deadlines.
