Duties and Responsibilities

As the Assistant Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies to support business objectives, including brand awareness, lead generation, and customer acquisition.
  • Align marketing initiatives with the company’s overall goals, ensuring that all efforts contribute to growth and profitability.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and market conditions to inform strategy development.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital (email, social media, SEO, PPC), print, events, and public relations.
  • Work with the creative team to develop engaging content, advertisements, and promotional materials.
  • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for each campaign and track performance to ensure they meet objectives.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Lead the development of the brand voice, messaging, and positioning to maintain a strong market presence.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, presentations, and other content to represent the brand effectively.
  • Develop and manage the company’s digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
  • Analyze digital marketing data to improve ROI and optimize campaigns.
  • Oversee website updates and content management to ensure the site is current, user-friendly, and aligned with marketing goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, consumer needs, and potential threats.
  • Analyze customer behavior, feedback, and trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Use data and analytics tools to track campaign performance and refine strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with sales, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and maximize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Provide guidance and support to the marketing team, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and on schedule.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where team members can contribute ideas and feedback.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet objectives.
  • Track marketing expenses, ensuring that campaigns stay within budget while delivering optimal results.
  • Evaluate ROI for all marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions to improve resource allocation.
  • Organize and manage marketing events, conferences, webinars, and trade shows to increase brand exposure and generate leads.
  • Coordinate logistics, marketing materials, and promotional strategies for events.
  • Represent the company at industry events to build relationships, gather insights, and promote products or services.
  • Develop and manage public relations strategies to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility.
  • Build relationships with key media outlets and influencers to secure positive coverage.
  • Oversee press releases, media interviews, and other PR efforts to keep the company in the public eye.

Qualifications

An Assistant Marketing Manager serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (MBA or other advanced qualifications are a plus).
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, project management, and team collaboration abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market research, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Creative thinking with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in marketing software (Google Analytics, CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in specific industries (e.g., technology, consumer goods, B2B) depending on the company’s focus.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website management.
  • Certification in marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, or Digital Marketing certifications) is a plus.

Note

Standing, bending, stooping, and lifting weights may be required. The hospitality business functions seven (7) days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be projected at all times.
