Junior Desk Strategist (Agency CMO & MBS Desk)

Join our Agency CMO and MBS trading desk as a Junior Desk Strategist. In this role, you will analyze market conditions, evaluate risk/reward tradeoffs, and communicate insights to clients. You will build and maintain data tools, partner with various teams to enhance desk analytics, and apply AI tools to improve decision-making. A bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline and proficiency in Python and Excel/VBA are required.

• Evaluar los impulsores de valoración de Agency MBS y CMO, incluyendo condiciones macroeconómicas, prepagos, dinámicas de oferta/demanda y desarrollos de políticas.
• Construir y mantener herramientas de datos, conjuntos de datos, modelos y flujos de trabajo de automatización para mejorar la calidad de salida, la escalabilidad y el tiempo de respuesta.
• Aplicar herramientas de inteligencia artificial para acelerar y mejorar los flujos de trabajo de datos, y mejorar la toma de decisiones de inversión.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
• Familiarity with AI-assisted research and productivity tools & proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
• Strong quantitative and investigative skills with the ability to evaluate complex market relationships and risk factors
• Proficient experience in securitized products, fixed income, quantitative research, or a related data field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely
• Proficiency in Python and Excel/VBA; experience with data analysis, automation, and quantitative modeling
