About The Role

Join Coinbase as a Sales Intern for a 12-week internship during summer 2026. As a member of the Institutional team, you will rotate through various functions including Sales, Account Management, Execution Services, Financing, Solutions Architecture, and Research. This internship will provide you with a unique understanding of institutional client needs and how Coinbase builds relationships through outstanding service and product capabilities. You will analyze data for trends and opportunities, create pitchbooks and outreach materials, qualify sales opportunities, and propose process improvements. Ideal candidates should have knowledge of the crypto/blockchain industry, experience with crypto ecosystems, and be currently in their junior year of an undergraduate program.

  • Participate in a comprehensive rotation through various functions within the Sales, Trading, and Prime (STP) team to gain a holistic understanding of institutional client needs.
  • Analyze data for trends and opportunities, producing competitor analysis and market commentary that inform client engagement strategies.
  • Create pitchbooks and outreach materials for client presentations and high-value prospect engagement, and follow up with inbound leads to qualify sales opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the crypto/blockchain industry and familiarity with financial markets, with the ability to contextualize market trends for institutional audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured written deliverables such as research summaries, presentations, or market analysis through coursework, projects, or prior internships
  • Experience with crypto ecosystems (e.g., self-custody, DeFi, staking, trading) through personal use, coursework, or projects
  • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
  • Currently in your junior year of an undergraduate program (rising senior in summer 2026) with demonstrated academic achievement
