## Description

A leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced **Specialist / Consultant Rheumatologist** to join its expanding medical team.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnosis and management of rheumatologic, autoimmune, and musculoskeletal disorders, working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment supported by modern diagnostic and treatment facilities.

Candidates with **UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board** credentials are encouraged to apply.

### Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions.
  • Manage inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, osteoporosis, and other musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, laboratory findings, and imaging.
  • Monitor disease activity, treatment response, and medication-related complications.
  • Manage complex and chronic rheumatologic conditions.
  • Provide appropriate joint and soft-tissue assessments and procedures where applicable.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, radiologists, endocrinologists, dermatologists, and other specialists.
  • Provide patient education regarding disease management, lifestyle, and long-term care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety, evidence-based practice, and clinical governance.

## Requirements

  • MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Recognized postgraduate qualification in **Internal Medicine and Rheumatology**.
  • Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
  • Strong experience managing autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Candidates with **UK CCT / MRCP, American Board, Australian Board, South African Board**, or equivalent internationally recognized specialist qualifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in a tertiary-care hospital or multispecialty healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
  • Experience in biologic therapies, autoimmune disease management, musculoskeletal ultrasound, or procedural rheumatology will be an advantage.
