Mechanical Design Engineer II (Manufacturing Engineering) Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency• Design, procure, and implement tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment• Support automation and semi-automated manufacturing initiatives• Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and startup activities• Partner on new product development from concept through production• Develop manufacturing processes that improve consistency and throughput• Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and safety assessments• Manage customer and internal engineering projects from quote through execution• Support bid/no-bid decisions, estimating, and resource planning• Collaborate across engineering, quality, and production to deliver successful projects• Champion continuous improvement and a safety-first culture

Mechanical Design Engineer II (Manufacturing Engineering) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required • Mechanical design and manufacturing engineering experience required• Experience designing tooling and fixtures using 3D CAD required • Ability to work 100% onsite required
