Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Huntleigh USA is seeking dependable, professional, and safety-focused individuals to join our Airport Security Team as Aircraft Security Officers at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). We are hiring both Part-Time and Full-Time employees. Shift schedules will vary, so flexibility is required.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining the security and protection of aircraft while on the ground and ensuring compliance with airport and airline security procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide security for assigned aircraft while on the ground.
• Monitor aircraft access and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
• Conduct security checks and remain alert for suspicious or unusual activity.
• Work at aircraft doors and throughout the airport ramp area.
• Maintain awareness of surrounding aircraft operations and ramp activities.
• Follow all airport, airline, and company security policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with airline personnel, airport staff, and fellow security officers.
• Report incidents, security concerns, or irregularities immediately.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must be reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced airport environment.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Flexible availability required, including weekends and rotating shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must follow instructions and established security procedures.
• Previous airport, security, aviation, military, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
