OR Specialty Charge Nurse (Full-time, Day shift)

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the direct and indirect care of perioperative patients. Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the OR subspecialties under their charge and communicates pertinent information to provide optimum patient care in the Operating Room Department. Assists the Nurse Manager in assuming responsibility for clinical management of specific perioperative teams. Assists in developing and monitoring quality improvement issues and assuring competent staff are able to meet the needs of the patient population on the specialty team.
