Staff Accountant (Revenue)

Join DOOR, a leading company in the tech industry, as a Staff Accountant, Revenue. In this role, you will play a key part in the company's revenue accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting through contract review, revenue recognition, and month-end close activities. You will also support accurate billing and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Finance, Sales, and Operations. • Review customer contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition, complete month-end close activities, and perform detailed analysis of transactions within the NetSuite ERP system.
• Support accurate billing and partner cross-functionally across Finance, Sales, and Operations to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Assist with audits, ad-hoc, special projects, and other requests as needed, while helping maintain revenue accounting documentation and processes.
• Working knowledge of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and month-end close processes
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 1-3 years of revenue accounting, general accounting, or related experience, with the readiness and drive to grow into a senior-level role
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Eagerness to learn and grow within a revenue accounting function
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
