About The Role
Join our team as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and play a crucial role in shaping the future of DataOS, the operating system for data and documents in asset-backed lending. You will be responsible for end-to-end development of high-impact features, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, and investing in internal user experience. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience, expertise in our modern tech stack, and a strong ownership mindset.
- End-to-end development of high-impact features across the stack, from design through launch.
- Building systems that streamline the parsing, standardization, and movement of complex financial data.
- Collaborating closely with Product, Finance, and Leadership to shape the roadmap and ensure impactful delivery.
- You thrive when given autonomy, cutting through ambiguity and driving results without waiting for detailed requirements
- You move fast, experiment, and ship great products that solve real-world problems
- You obsess over the user experience and build with empathy
- You’re curious, ask clarifying questions, and collaborate closely with Product and business leaders
- Expertise in our modern tech stack, or similar: Python/Flask, TypeScript/React, Tailwind CSS, Data Warehouses, and tools for data and AI
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype and iterate based on tight feedback loops
- Experience participating in a rotating on-call shift, with the ability to investigate, triage, and resolve immediate production issues
- Curiosity and practical experience with AI and LLM technologies, with a focus on their responsible use in production systems
- Strong Database / Data Warehouse / Data Integrity experience is a plus – focus on auditability and version control/change tracking for critical datasets
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, high-autonomy environments while driving clarity and progress
- Excellent communication skills – you ask the right questions, align stakeholders, and make complex ideas clear
- A strong ownership mindset – you take responsibility for end-to-end initiatives and see them through to completion
- A collaborative approach – you work effectively with teammates, welcome feedback, and contribute to team success
- 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering production systems
