Head of Communications

Join Powerdot, a fast-growing company in the electric vehicle charging industry, as the Head of Communications. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and leading Powerdot's communications strategy, managing external and internal communications, and protecting the brand. You will report directly to the CEO and have the opportunity to shape the company's reputation from the inside.

• This is a build role for someone who wants to shape a category leader's reputation from the inside
• Player-coach mindset: senior enough to set strategy, hands-on enough to write the post yourself
• Hands-on experience running PR and media relations, and managing agencies across multiple markets
• A genuine storyteller, you can prove it with work that shifted perception, not just activity
• Track record building or running internal communications for a distributed team
• Fluency in English; French is a strong plus. Any additional market language (Spanish, Portugese, Polish) is a bonus
• 10+ years in communications, with a blend of PR, social media and internal comms, ideally a mix of agency and in-house, in a scale-up, tech or high-growth environment
• Comfortable operating directly with a CEO and leadership team, and translating strategy into message
