z/OS Mainframe Storage Engineer

In this role, you will manage, support, and optimize enterprise mainframe storage infrastructure, ensuring maximum performance, availability, and resilience of business-critical systems. You will collaborate with various teams and utilize automation tools to improve operational efficiency.

• Manage all aspects of mainframe disk and storage administration, including installation, removal, upgrades, updates, provisioning, restoration, and ongoing support.
• Plan and implement storage capacity expansions and infrastructure changes, and perform daily operational activities, including health checks, incident management, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with systems programming, network, database, and application teams to ensure seamless service delivery, and utilize automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
