About The Role

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follow approved work instructions, product specifications, visual guides, quality requirements, ESD controls, contamination-control practices, PPE requirements, and site safety procedures when handling precision laser products.
  • Prepare and confirm that required labels, documents, packaging materials, and accessories are available and correct before starting final labeling and packaging activities.
  • Verify product identification, serial numbers, labels, documentation, and packaging information to ensure accuracy, traceability, and compliance before packing.
  • Prepare, apply, and inspect product, safety, accessory, and shipping labels to confirm that label content, legibility, placement, and product match are correct.
  • Package precision laser products carefully to ensure product protection, correct packaging configuration, and prevention of damage, contamination, mix-up, or loss of traceability.
  • Perform final visual inspection after packaging to confirm product condition, label quality, packaging integrity, and meet quality and customer requirements.
  • Use manufacturing and enterprise systems to update production records, complete data collection, close packaging activities, and perform related material transactions accurately.
  • Stage completed products in designated finished-goods locations after required verification, packaging, and system transactions are completed.
  • Identify and escalate product defects, incorrect labels, printing issues, packaging defects, system transaction errors, mismatches, or any deviation from specifications.
  • Support other Warehouse activities as assigned.

Education & Experience

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, secondary education, or higher qualification.
  • Prior experience in precision manufacturing, electronics, optics, medical device, semiconductor, or other quality-controlled production environments is preferred.
  • Experience with a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), ERP system, barcode or label-printing system, or production software is an advantage.
  • Candidates with general warehouse packing experience may be considered only if they demonstrate strong attention to detail, careful handling, system discipline, and willingness to follow controlled manufacturing procedures.

Skills & Other Requirements

  • Able to read and understand product specifications, work instructions, visual guides, labeling requirements, and packing requirements.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to perform common Microsoft Windows operations, including using a keyboard and mouse, opening applications, entering data, and printing documents or labels.
  • Able and willing to learn and use Cumulus MES and related manufacturing systems.
  • High attention to detail and ability to verify serial numbers, labels, packaging contents, and product identification accurately.
  • Proactive in identifying potential quality, labeling, packaging, material, or process issues and escalating them promptly.
  • Able to follow documented procedures consistently and maintain accurate production records.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing team.
  • Basic English reading and communication skills are desirable for understanding work instructions, specifications, safety information, and system prompts.
