About The Role
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Own and manage complete project documentation lifecycle, from post-award through final submission.
- Participate in project kick-off meetings to understand customer documentation requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (factories, Project Managers, engineering, quality, and customers) to ensure timely document submission and approvals per EDDI.
- Maintain detailed tracking of documents within EDDI/VDRL (Vendor Document Register List).
- Ensure documents are correctly stored, version-controlled, and easily retrievable in Emerson systems such as DocPro, DMS, or PLM (e.g., Windchill).
- Review plant-issued technical documents to ensure alignment with scope of supply before customer submission.
- Prepare document cover pages and manage transmittals between Emerson and customers.
- Review customer comments, prepare comment resolution sheets, and coordinate responses with internal teams.
- Submit revised documents with corresponding comment resolution sheets for approvals.
- Follow up consistently with stakeholders to expedite document reviews, submissions, and approvals.
- Upload documentation to customer portals or share via approved communication channels.
- Provide regular document status reports to customers and project teams.
- Prepare and submit Manufacturing Record Books (MRB) or final databooks per approved index, and support closure for milestone payments tied to documentation.

For This Role, You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in document control or project documentation within engineering, manufacturing, or EPC environments.
- Familiarity with document management systems (DMS), PLM tools, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with global teams and customers.
- High attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Working understanding of technical documentation and project execution workflows.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart
- Experience with Emerson tools such as DocPro or Windchill, or similar enterprise systems.
- Exposure to EDDI/VDRL management and customer documentation requirements in global projects.
- Knowledge of quality standards and compliance frameworks related to technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage documentation for complex, multi-location projects.
