About The Role

About Breville Breville’s primary strategy is the design and development of the world's best kitchen solutions, whilst expanding distribution, and supporting this with dynamic marketing, on a global scale. We're an ASX-listed company with a passion for innovation, quality, and making everyday food moments feel a little more special. Our award-winning product development team brings together designers, engineers, food experts, and product thinkers. What unites us is curiosity, a love of good design, and a drive to build products people love to use. For us, product development is all about raising the bar. Everyone here is focused on creating the best possible products with the customer always front and centre. We dig deep to understand what really matters to people in the kitchen, and we aim to deliver that in every product so that we can help consumers master every moment. About the role The Global Product Research team is responsible for building deeper connections with consumers. We are a talented bunch of pattern seekers committed to delivering insights in clear, compelling ways that inspire our teams to create products and solutions consumers will love. This role keeps the engine room of the research function running - coordinating recruitment, managing our participant panel, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring our research documentation and data practices are well organised and compliant. This position would suit someone highly organised and process-driven, who enjoys managing multiple moving parts at once. You'll work closely with our Consumer Researchers day to day supporting their projects rather than leading research yourself and will report to the Head of Research. We are looking for a Research Operations Coordinator to join our Global Product Research team, based at our head office in Alexandria, on a fixed-term 12 month, part-time basis - three days per week (preferably Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Key Responsibilities: Recruitment Participant Management — Coordinate participant recruitment across key research projects including Focus Groups, Field Trials and Home Visits globally. Schedule participant attendance/Zoom meetings. Manage research sample dispatch and return and handle participant incentive payments. Panel Management — Grow and refresh our consumer (CMNTY) panel, and maintain accurate, up-to-date panel data and records. Vendor Management — Maintain relationships with existing research vendors and support the setup of new vendors as required. Legal Data Compliance — Manage NDAs for research participants, ensure research data handling meets internal compliance requirements, and handle participant data requests (access/deletion). Process Documentation — Maintain research templates and process documentation so the wider research team can work efficiently and consistently. Research Repository Knowledge Management — Maintain a central home for past research findings, ensuring insights are properly organised, easily accessed and appropriately shared.
