About The Role

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a technically oriented Reporting Developer to join the Alternative Investments Business Solutions team. This role will be responsible for developing, enhancing, supporting, and maintaining reporting solutions and related technologies used across Alternative Investment operations.

The ideal candidate possesses strong technical aptitude and enjoys solving complex business problems through technology. Experience with Crystal Reports, SQL, database reporting, and financial systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of Investran or Alternative Investment servicing is preferred but not required.

We are willing to train the right candidate on Alternative Investments and Investran; however, candidates must demonstrate strong technical skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies and business processes.

What You Will Be Responsible For

As an Officer in this role, you will

  • Design, develop, test, enhance, and maintain Crystal Reports and related reporting solutions.
  • Partner with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues within reporting applications and related data sources.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extraction logic.
  • Support reporting modernization and automation initiatives.
  • Work with technology and business teams throughout the SDLC lifecycle including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Participate in report migrations, upgrades, and platform enhancement projects.
  • Maintain technical documentation, report specifications, and support procedures.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing and release validation activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, data quality, and operational processes.
  • Provide production support and participate in issue resolution and root cause analysis activities.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in application development, reporting development, business intelligence, or related technical roles.
  • Experience writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
  • Experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience supporting production applications and resolving technical issues.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle processes.

Preferred

  • Crystal Reports development experience.
  • Experience with Investran.
  • Experience in Alternative Investments, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, or Fund Administration.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience developing operational, financial, or client reporting solutions.
  • Experience with automation technologies including Power Automate or other workflow platforms.
  • Experience working with APIs, data integration, or ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of reporting platform administration and performance tuning.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $106,250 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
