DescriptionPurpose of Role

Working in the warehousing team of a multi-national company that manufactures, distributes, and installs covering systems for the haulage industry. The purpose of the role is to support the warehousing team in all aspects of their day-to-day activities. This individual is responsible for handling goods and products within the warehouse including: receiving deliveries, storing stock safely, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and health & safety standards. This role will be based in Wisbech.

Job Profile Description

General:

Receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries
Storing goods in the correct warehouse locations
Picking and packing customer orders accurately
Using warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks or forklifts (if trained)
Conducting stock checks and inventory control
Working closely with colleagues across the company to ensure customer requirements are satisfied, in a timely and professional manner
Carrying out general warehousing duties

Counterbalance forklift experience and/or license (desired not required)

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Basic numeracy, I.T and literacy skills
Experience within a warehouse or logistics role.
Experience working with stock control.
Forklift licence (RTITB/AITT)
