Sandia Peak Ski Area is looking for dependable, hardworking Lift Operators to join our mountain operations team for the upcoming ski season.

As a Lift Operator, you'll help safely operate our ski lifts, assist guests with loading and unloading, monitor lift operations, and provide friendly customer service while working in a beautiful mountain environment.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate and monitor assigned ski lifts.
• Assist guests with safe loading and unloading.
• Monitor lift areas and communicate with supervisors and other lift operators.
• Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines.
• Report equipment issues, hazards, or guest concerns.
• Keep lift areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist with other mountain operations duties as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Reliable transportation to and from Sandia Peak Ski Area is required.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Comfortable working outdoors in cold, snow, wind, and other inclement weather.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.
• Able to stand and work outdoors for extended periods.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable working with guests and a team.
• Previous lift operations or ski-area experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time seasonal positions available.
• Schedules may vary based on weather, mountain operations, and guest visitation. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
