Director of Security Operations

Join Aledade, a leading healthcare technology company, as the Director of Security Operations. In this remote-first role, you will oversee the daily operations of the security operations center (SOC), manage a team of security professionals, and develop and implement security policies and incident response protocols. • Oversee the daily operations of the organization's security operations center (SOC) and manage a team of security professionals.
• Develop and implement security policies, incident response protocols, and security monitoring strategies to protect the organization's assets.
• Lead by example as a highly technical leader, delivering high business impact on multiple projects and balancing short and long-term business impact by developing strategies to manage risks.

• Proven experience in managing a SOC and leading incident response efforts
• Experience with regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS)
• Strong understanding of security technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls, and vulnerability management tools
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in security operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and forward-thinking approach
