Lead Software Engineer

• Own the architecture and roadmap for a core product area end-to-end, partnering with design and product to ship experiences customers love.
• Lead the design of systems that surface insight from data at massive scale, driving adoption of AI/ML in the product.
• Set technical direction for scaling infrastructure cost-effectively while maintaining reliability under heavy load, and mentor engineers to raise the bar for the team.

• 8+ years as a full-stack engineer, with a track record of owning both production frontend (React or similar) and backend systems. You’re as fluent in the UI layer as in APIs and data
• A track record of mentoring engineers and elevating team-wide technical practices
• Deep experience with distributed systems and modern cloud architecture, and the judgment to choose the right tool for the job across the stack
• A strong hands-on collaborator with a bias to action. You lead from the front and help the team deliver on their estimates
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) and excited about building AI-powered capabilities into the product
• Experience leading technical direction for a team or product area, not just executing tickets
