About The Role
Join DAT, a leading provider of transportation and logistics solutions, as a Product Manager for our advanced freight analytics and intelligence platform, iQ. In this role, you will shape how shippers, brokers, and carriers understand market dynamics, price freight strategically, and optimize their operations. You will conduct customer research, market analysis, and competitive assessments, manage product features from ideation through launch, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Act as the voice of shippers, brokers, and carriers to inform product decisions for iQ's analytics and pricing capabilities.
- Conduct customer research, market analysis, and competitive assessments to identify unmet needs and validate product opportunities in freight analytics and pricing.
- Manage iQ product features from ideation through launch and ongoing optimization, with focus on market intelligence, pricing tools, and business performance analytics.
- Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex data concepts simply and build consensus across stakeholders at all levels
- Product Expertise: Proven experience building high-quality data-driven products with design and engineering teams
- Experience: 2+ years of product management experience, preferably with analytics, business intelligence, or pricing products
- Data-Driven: Passionate about diving into data to understand customer behavior, market trends, and edge cases to optimize product outcomes
- Organizational Excellence: Strong prioritization, problem-solving, and project management skills to manage ambiguity and drive results
- Proactive Mindset: A self-starter who takes ownership and turns ideas into actionable plans that deliver customer value
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Science, or a related field
- Industry Experience: Direct experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain technology. Understanding of supply/demand dynamics, market benchmarking, or competitive intelligence products
- AI/ML Experience: Experience launching AI-powered analytics or predictive pricing features
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of technical systems, data architecture, and engineering trade-offs to effectively prioritize analytics and pricing features
- Technical Proficiency: SQL experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.)
- B2B SaaS: Background in B2B SaaS product development, particularly for enterprise customers
