Event Specialist

About The Role
As an Event Specialist, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of company events and promotional initiatives. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and event participants to ensure each event is organized, professional, and aligned with company standards.
The role requires strong organizational skills, communication abilities, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning, preparation, and execution of events.
- Coordinate event schedules, materials, logistics, and operational requirements.
- Communicate professionally with team members, vendors, partners, and attendees.
- Support event setup, organization, and on-site coordination.
- Ensure event materials and resources are prepared and available when needed.
- Help maintain timelines and ensure assigned tasks are completed efficiently.
- Identify and help resolve operational issues during events.
- Maintain accurate event information, documentation, and internal updates.
- Collaborate with different departments to support event objectives.
- Represent NextShining in a professional and positive manner.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and customer-service skills.
- Comfortable working in active and changing environments.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to respond quickly to unexpected situations.
- Ability to follow procedures while maintaining flexibility when needed.
- Proficiency with standard workplace communication and productivity tools.
- Competitive salary of $47,000–$54,000 per year
