As a construction engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring on-site construction activities and inspecting materials to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and contract documents. Your duties will include evaluating work related to excavations, drainage systems, road surfaces, and structural components; performing field measurements and calculations; preparing detailed inspection reports; and tracking contractor production rates.
