About The Role

Project Manager-Electrical

  • Qualification: B.E. (Electrical Engineering), M.Tech. preferred
  • Exp: Minimum 15-18 years’ experience on construction site.

Responsibilities

  • Review electrical designs, drawings, specifications, BOQs, tender documents, and technical submissions prepared by consultants and contractors.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor all electrical works associated with construction and infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinate the design and execution of electrical systems including HT/LT systems, electrical distribution, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, power distribution, and other electrical installations , as applicable to the project.
  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors for the integration of electrical systems with architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, HVAC, fire-fighting, plumbing, ICT, and other building services.
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules and ensure timely completion of electrical works.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor installation, workmanship, material quality, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical building services and construction practices.
  • Good understanding of HT/LT systems, electrical distribution, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, lighting, earthing, lightning protection, and power management.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, architectural, structural, mechanical, and MEP drawings.
  • Knowledge of project planning, scheduling, estimation, BOQ preparation, tendering, procurement, and contract management.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and other relevant engineering/project management software.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical regulations, building codes, safety requirements, and statutory standards.
  • Understanding of electrical testing, commissioning, inspection, and handover procedures.
