About The Role
Your role, your impact
As a Functional Analyst within the Oracle ERP & HCM Center of Excellence (CoE) , you’ll play a critical role in supporting, optimizing, stabilizing, and continuously improving Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions within an internal ERP Center of Excellence. You’ll work closely with Human Capital and Operations stakeholders, business analysts, functional owners, solution architects, developers, and technical teams to support complex incidents, service requests, operational initiatives, quarterly releases, and ongoing system maintenance. Your ability to troubleshoot complex functional issues, perform root cause analysis, provide expert functional guidance, optimize Oracle Fusion HCM solutions, and collaborate across functional and technical teams will directly contribute to service quality, operational stability, user satisfaction, and the continuous improvement of Oracle HCM capabilities.
Your day-to-day
- Lead the functional resolution of complex Oracle Fusion HCM incidents, service requests, and problem management activities;
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and identify recurring issues impacting system performance, operational stability, and user experience;
- Partner with Human Capital stakeholders to understand operational challenges, facilitate issue resolution discussions, and recommend sustainable solutions and process improvements;
- Configure, maintain, support, and optimize Oracle Fusion HCM solutions across Core HR, Workforce Structures, Position Management, Talent Management, Goal Management, Performance Management, Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, Journeys, and Dynamic Skills, as well as Compensation processes, including Salary Review and Variable Pay;
- Support Talent Management capabilities, including Career Development, Succession Modeling, and Talent Review, as well as Compensation processes, including Salary Review and Variable Pay;
- Ensure strong functional integration between Oracle Fusion HCM and related Oracle solutions, including ERP Financials, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Identity and Security Frameworks, and Reporting and Analytics platforms;
- Participate in support governance activities, backlog reviews, release readiness assessments, and prioritization discussions, while assessing the impacts of Oracle quarterly updates, new functionality, and system enhancements;
- Participate in testing and validation activities related to fixes, patches, quarterly updates, and enhancements, and validate proposed solutions prior to deployment;
- Produce and maintain functional documentation, troubleshooting guides, knowledge articles, support playbooks, and operational standards, while promoting knowledge sharing and mentoring Functional Analysts and junior team members;
- Collaborate with stakeholders, Solution Architects, Technical Leads, Developers, Functional Owners, and other CoE colleagues to support operational excellence, system optimization, service quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Keys to your success
- Minimum 6-10 years of experience as a Functional Analyst working with Oracle packaged solutions, including 4-7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM;
- Demonstrated experience supporting complex Oracle Fusion HCM environments and production support activities;
- Experience supporting complex cross-functional and integrated business processes in global Oracle Fusion HCM environments;
- Experience participating in Oracle quarterly release assessments and testing activities, while driving process improvements and system optimization initiatives;
- Experience documenting functional solutions and operational procedures, and contributing to knowledge development within a support organization;
- Experience working within a Center of Excellence (CoE) operating model and mentoring analysts or junior team members;
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, coaching, and organizational skills, with the ability to influence decision-making, manage competing priorities, and balance strategic thinking with hands-on functional execution.
Extra edge
- Oracle Fusion HCM certification;
- Experience working within ITIL-based support environments, with service requests, incidents, problem management processes, and Oracle quarterly update planning, testing, and deployment activities;
- Experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, Power BI, or Power Query, as well as experience supporting enterprise-wide Oracle HCM transformation, stabilization, or continuous improvement initiatives;
- Understanding of integrations, data conversions, data governance, and data quality processes, knowledge of HR compliance, employee data governance, and audit requirements, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
- French skills.
