On schedule to open in the United Arab Emirates in Spring 2027, Wynn Al Marjan Island has been created as an opulent and entertaining beachside destination for discerning guests to play and relax. Located less than 50 miles from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theater, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.
About the Position
Wynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager - Transportation Shuttle to join the resort’s Transportation Shuttle team.
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive, predictive, and planned maintenance program tailored to luxury vehicles.
- Maintain optimal fleet availability through structured maintenance scheduling and by minimizing VOR rates and fleet downtime.
- Establish KPIs to measure maintenance performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Lead daily operations of internal and external workshops, ensuring adherence to OEM standards.
- Supervise technicians, inspectors, and workshop coordinators, ensuring flawless service delivery.
- Validate all technical diagnoses for high-value vehicles.
- Serve as the primary liaison with OEM service centers, parts suppliers, and specialized repair facilities.
- Negotiate service level agreements (SLAs), parts pricing, warranties, and recall processes.
- Ensure all work performed externally meets Wynn-quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and post-maintenance quality checks.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulatory requirements, roadworthiness standards, and safety protocols.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of all maintenance activities and records.
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget for the fleet.
- Optimize maintenance expenditures while preserving luxury-standard operational quality.
- Track and report cost variances, parts inventory, and resource utilization.
- Implement digital fleet health monitoring systems and telematics integration.
- Analyze vehicle performance data, identify patterns, breakdown risks, or maintenance gaps.
- Recommend fleet improvements, upgrades, or replacements based on lifecycle analysis.
- Monitor and manage driver-related performance and scorecards.
- Coach and supervise maintenance technicians and workshop staff.
- Fleet operational useability awareness and technical training.
- Drive a culture of quality, precision, and guest-centric fleet readiness.
- Oversee training in diagnostics, OEM procedures, and new technology.
- Exception handling and vehicle recovery practices / procedures.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in automotive engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 7+ years of experience managing premium or luxury fleet maintenance, preferably in hospitality, limousine services, or VIP transport.
- Proven experience working with European luxury brands and advanced diagnostic systems.
- Strong understanding of UAE automotive licensing and insurance regulations and RTA/RAKTA requirements.
- Experience in managing third‑party service contracts and vendor performance.
- Expert knowledge of luxury vehicles, operating systems and OEM maintenance practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Budgeting, cost optimization, and analytical report-writing capability.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, guest‑oriented operational environments.
- English proficiency (language & written)
- Arabic is highly desirable.
