Launch Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Launch Engineer to drive new product launch activities from the project phase through successful mass production. This role is responsible for coordinating and driving cross-functional activities to ensure product, process, and production readiness meet project milestones, quality requirements, and production targets.

🚀 Key responsibilities

• Support and coordinate new product launch activities according to project plans and milestones.
• Coordinate with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, Production Planning, APQP, and other related departments to ensure project activities are completed on schedule.
• Follow up on project tasks, action items, and deadlines and proactively communicate any issues or delays.
• Review technical drawings, product specifications, and engineering changes and coordinate with relevant teams regarding their impact on manufacturing.
• Support sample build, process verification, trial production, and production readiness activities.
• Support APQP activities and follow up on project-related documentation and actions.
• Identify project issues and coordinate with responsible teams to develop and follow up corrective actions.
• Prepare and present project status, issues, and action plans to both local and international teams.
• Independently communicate and conduct meetings in English with foreign colleagues and global teams when required.

🎯Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• ​ 1–3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing, production engineering, process engineering, project engineering, NPI, new model development, or a related field.
• Experience in new model / new product launch or manufacturing project management.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production readiness.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and product specifications.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, coordination, and follow-up skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
