Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Westview International Language School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our educational team. The role involves providing targeted support to students with additional learning needs, working closely with teachers to ensure all learners can access the curriculum effectively and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who require extra support.
• Assist in delivering personalized learning programs tailored to individual student needs.
• Support classroom management by promoting positive behavior and engagement.
• Help adapt teaching materials and resources to enhance student understanding.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
• Relevant qualifications in Education, Special Education, or related fields.
• Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar support role is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for working with children.
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
