Lead Consultant - Health & Benefits

About The Role
As part of the Health & Benefits Team, this role is primarily to develop and grow our H&B Business in Malaysia. This would include building technical mastery to deliver client projects, pipeline management, provide technical training, client sales/servicing support and to deliver on H&B strategy.
The Role
- Support H&B projects and proposals development
- Project deliver and account management. This would include serving as the contact for internal stakeholders and clients on delivery of services.
- Sales management, ensuring the progress against established objectives, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards.
- Develop benefits propositions, liaising & negotiating with stakeholders and prepare client solutions & recommendations. This would include (but not limited to) day to day vendor collaboration, building/refining processes and developing marketing/sales materials.
- Manage client expectations and raise appropriate issues to practice leader.
- Revenue target for H&B consulting projects and fee/commision based brokerage clients.
- Managed an active and healthy sales pipeline that is aligned to revenue target.
- Conduct benchmarking studies and other research; provide value added analysis and summaries.
- Analyze and compare vendor products, services and contracts.
- Design, distribute and evaluate responses to surveys and RFPs.
- Communicate and liaise effectively with colleagues and clients regarding data collection and project execution.
- Maintain and update of all sales material.
- Claims analysis report writing.
- Build Strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels.
- Responding knowledgeably and quickly to champion questions.
The Requirements
- Strong Employee Benefits business development background.
- Proven experience with high corporate deals closing ratio.
- Flexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues
- Strong Client service orientation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to ask the right questions and seek help where appropriate
- Ability to work both independently and on client teams and enjoy a fast-paced environments
- Sense of accountability; owning one's work and taking pride in it
- Self-starter, interest in continually challenging oneself and willingness to step outside of one's comfort zone
- Interest and ability to think beyond the task at hand and understand how one's work fits into the broader landscape
