About The Role

Join a newly public company as a Senior Accounting Manager. In this role, you will oversee accounting operations, manage the month-end close process, ensure the integrity of the general ledger, and serve as a named control owner within our SOX framework. You will lead a team of GL and AP accountants, act as a primary contact for external auditors, and be accountable for the monthly management reporting package. Additionally, you will drive process improvements and provide senior oversight of the vendor master and disbursement control environment.

  • The ideal candidate has experience in a fast-paced, post-IPO environment and brings the experience and knowledge to drive operational and process improvements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel and analytical abilities
  • Strong NetSuite experience required, with the ability to query the system directly (saved searches, and ideally SuiteQL), FloQast, Expensify, and Workiva experience are pluses
  • CPA required with deep US GAAP fluency. Big 4 or national audit firm experience is a plus
  • Hands-on SOX 404(b) experience as a control owner including familiarity with control narratives in functional areas outside accounting & reporting , IPE requirements, and deficiency remediation
  • 8-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years managing the close and leading a team of direct reports; post-IPO experience strongly preferred. Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or another high-growth regulated industry is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
