About The Role

Join our team as a Shipbuilding Project Manager. In this role, you will coordinate every stage of the project, ensuring client satisfaction, project margin, quality, and planning. You will work in accordance with the company's project management procedure and quality system, and will be supported by various operational departments. You should have experience in project management and customer relationship, strong organizational capabilities, and a practical approach to problem-solving. Fluency in French and English is required.

Coordination of all stages of shipbuilding projects, ensuring client satisfaction, project margin, quality, and planning.
Collaboration with operational departments and group supporting bodies to coordinate activities on the project.
Regular project reporting to management, ensuring transparency and addressing any issues or challenges.

The project manager should
o Have Experience in project management and customer relationship
o Show a rigorous mind and good organisational capabilities,
o Elaborate planning, anticipate difficulties and recognize critical path
o Have a practical approach and develop proximity with the production teams
o Integrate the cost side of things in his actions or proposals, with an aim to limit costs and improve results
o Ensure regular project reporting toward his management, in all transparency
o Be a solution seeker and prove some common sense and a critical mind
o Be able to measure the impact of proposed modifications,
The project Manager is aware of or familiar with
o Related professional standards, and good working practices
o Professional techniques, usual practices and shipbuilding methods
o Materials and equipment used in shipbuilding
o The ISO standard
o Contractual management methods.
o Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
o Reactive and flexible in changing and high pressure environment
o Typically a master degree, equivalent to the French Engineering degree BAC+5, or a proven significant experience at equivalent position,
o Experience in Shipbuilding
