About The Role
Eagle Integrated Services, LLC is hiring for a Systems Engineer. The Systems Engineer supports the IT Team at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
Duties
- Analyze, design, create, prototype, and evaluate clinical workflows with the goal of improving the overall usability of processes and minimizing work complexity
- Design and validate workflow packages for deployment to medical treatment facilities across the Air Force Medical Service.
- Design and maintain the Air Force Medical Service related elements of the enterprise knowledge management user interface.
- Analyze and validate user deficiency reports, and using Lean/Six Sigma and other proven methodologies and tools, recommend changes that will improve overall usability.
- Plan and execute usability evaluations in clinical user environments, recommend process improvements to improve usability, and implement approved recommendations.
- Provide expertise in application of Lean/Six Sigma methodology in the analysis, design, development, prototyping, and assessment of clinical workflows.
Qualifications
- Have a Bachelor's degree from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology approved systems engineering program.
- Possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, and a minimum of 2 years of experience planning, designing, and re-engineering healthcare delivery processes.
- Strong coordination, organization, teaming and communication abilities
- Substantial knowledge of and demonstrated ability in systems engineering principles, models, and tools as applied within a systems approach to analysis, problem-solving, and solution design and implementation.
- Possesses demonstrated ability in soft systems methodologies, models, and tools as applied to analysis and problem-solving within organizations.
- Significant knowledge of and demonstrated ability in operations, culture, regulatory requirements, and change strategies in the healthcare industry.
Highly Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in systems engineering or health systems engineering is desired.
- International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE) certification is desired.
- Lean or Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is desired.
